Under general supervision, this role assembles components that may include sub-assemblies, manual components, and electrical components to contribute to the completion of a variety of products. The assembler prepares and processes electrical and mechanical components for assigned product lines, working from process work instructions and test procedures. This role involves monitoring and recording related documentation to meet quality requirements, following production build rates and schedules, and meeting required cycle times. The assembler will interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices and use a variety of tools including manual and power hand tools, pneumatic tools, test equipment, presses, and measuring and cutting devices. Responsibilities include set-ups, work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work-area, and meeting work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
