About The Position

The Fabrication Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met safely, efficiently, and with consistent quality. The role supervises hourly production employees, coordinates schedules and workflow, and implements process improvements to optimize production output. The supervisor is expected to demonstrate strong leadership, reliability, self-motivation, and a customer-first mindset. The position works in a factory environment with potential exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures, high noise levels in Fab 1, and dust. The stated schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on rotating days. Overtime is required.

Requirements

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is recommended.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise hourly production workers.
Set an example through excellent attendance, punctuality, dependability, and professionalism.
Plan, organize, and coordinate daily production activities to meet quality standards.
Promote a customer-first culture by emphasizing product quality, on-time delivery, and responsiveness to customer needs.
Collaborate with quality and logistics teams to ensure products meet customer specifications and deadlines.
Address production issues promptly to minimize effects on customer satisfaction.
Train, coach, and evaluate hourly workers to ensure competence and compliance with company standards.
Monitor production processes for efficiency, quality, and compliance with production targets.
Oversee production line operations to support continuous, maximum-capacity production.
Ensure proper documentation of output, downtime, and scrap.
Enforce safety policies and ensure workers follow occupational health and safety regulations.
Implement corrective actions to prevent production issues from recurring.
Coordinate and assign tasks during scheduled downtime to complete 5S activities efficiently.
Identify and recommend process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
As required, prepare daily production reports, report scrap to inventory control, and send documentation to management.
Communicate with management, maintenance, technicians, and quality to support smooth operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
