About The Position

This role involves assisting in fabrication processes, requiring the employee to be on their feet for extended periods and handle various physical tasks. The job also necessitates working outdoors in diverse weather conditions and wearing personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Good dexterity with hands and fingers.
• Vision abilities to focus, see short and long distances, colors, depth perception and peripheral vision.
• Must be capable of working outside in the elements including but not limited to the heat, cold, rain, snow and wind.
• Must be able to work for long periods of time up to 12 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Assist welders with grinding.
• Adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting.
• Talk and hear to communicate.
• Use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, pull: objects, materials, controls and tools.
• Lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
• Work outside in the elements including but not limited to the heat, cold, rain, snow and wind.
• Work for long periods of time up to 12 hours a day.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and steel-toe boots.
