About The Position

Foundation Building Materials (FBM), in conjunction with Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), serves commercial and residential construction markets across the United States and Canada. FBM and UDHG have more than 8,000 team members and emphasize operational excellence, innovation, employee development, and customer service. The Fabrication Door Specialist inspects, services, installs, and repairs commercial doors with precision and professionalism. The role calls for technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, craftsmanship, and a commitment to customer service. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits, and it reports to the Branch Manager.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, technical, and related industry position.
Power tool experience.
Ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Reliability and attention to detail.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience and/or training.
Ability to lift and move heavy doors safely.
Ability to read and understand instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately and perform basic math.

Nice To Haves

Experience with commercial doors, frames, or hardware.
