Fabrication Associate - Entry Level

About The Position

Ferguson is seeking an entry-level Fabrication Associate to join its team. The role supports pipe fabrication operations, including setting up and maintaining shop machinery, measuring and processing pipe, moving and assembling orders, organizing supplies, and following safety procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Prior fabrication experience is preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

Prior fabrication experience is preferred but not required.
Experience and training in operating machinery to cut and thread pipe according to OSHA regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain machines in the shop for pipe fabrication.
Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe length.
Measure and cut pipe with a band saw and/or torch; roll and groove single and double random lengths; and thread and bevel pipe with Landis machines.
Move loose and/or bundled pipe from various locations within the pipe yard.
Assemble pipe orders as single sticks or bundles and keep work supplies organized.
Observe safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe for storage and transportation.
Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures.
