Fabrication Assistant
About The Position
The Fabrication Assistant supports orthotic and prosthetic device fabrication. The role offers collaboration with experienced fabrication technicians and clinicians, training on assigned processes, and opportunities to strengthen specialized fabrication skills. The hands-on work supports patient mobility and independence. Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics provides orthotic and prosthetic services across the Midwest, with fabrication and clinical teams working together to help patients regain mobility, confidence, and independence through quality devices and personalized care.
Requirements
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Previous internship or work experience in an orthotics and prosthetics fabrication lab.
- Familiarity with plaster preparation, thermoplastic forming, finishing, laminations, or component assembly.
- Technical or trade coursework related to fabrication, materials, manufacturing, or engineering.
