About The Position

Rainier Pure Beef is looking for an experienced Fabrication Line Lead to help lead our production team in a fast-paced USDA-inspected beef processing facility. This role is for a dependable leader who enjoys coaching others, solving problems on the production floor, and taking pride in producing a quality product safely and efficiently. As a Line Lead, you'll work alongside the Fabrication Supervisor to keep production running smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of safety, food safety, quality, and employee performance. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in beef processing, preferably in fabrication.
  • Previous experience leading, training, or mentoring employees in a production environment.
  • Working knowledge of USDA regulations and food safety requirements.
  • Ability to work in a cold, wet, physically demanding manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Previous experience as a Lead, Trainer, or Supervisor.
  • Experience monitoring production yields and line efficiencies.
  • Knowledge of boxed beef specifications and customer quality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support an assigned fabrication production line to meet daily production goals.
  • Help assign work, balance staffing, and keep product flowing efficiently throughout the shift.
  • Monitor line performance, identify bottlenecks, and work with supervisors to resolve issues quickly.
  • Coach, train, and support team members while promoting accountability and teamwork.
  • Ensure all USDA, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and company food safety standards are followed.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by reinforcing safe work practices and proper PPE use.
  • Monitor product quality, cutting specifications, trim standards, labeling, and yields.
  • Work closely with Food Safety and Quality Assurance to maintain customer specifications.
  • Track downtime, communicate equipment concerns, and report production issues.
  • Serve as the first point of leadership for hourly team members and help communicate operational updates.
