About The Position

Luxium Solutions in Milford, New Hampshire, is hiring a Fabrication Technician to perform machining operations on ceramic parts to very close tolerances. Operations include surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, and centerless grinding. The role also involves daily equipment maintenance, adjustments, and cleaning, as well as inspecting work with a variety of precision measuring devices.

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, takes direction well, and can work without direct supervision. Manufacturing experience is valued, but training is available for candidates without it.

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience.
• Technical or trade school degree or certificate in machining.
• At least one year of machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform machining operations, including surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, and centerless grinding, on ceramic parts to close tolerances.
• Perform daily operator maintenance, adjustments, and cleaning of equipment.
• Check completed work using a variety of precision measuring devices.
