About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a FAB Material Handler - Copper Kitter - WKND Shift. This position is based at our Arden, NC location. The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D from an accredited institution
Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift certification

Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead
Ability to climb ladders
Proven history of safe work habits
Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, Excel, etc.
Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as Material Handler
Previous experience with Kanban

Responsibilities

Have ownership of storage racks including daily review of Racks, 5S+, Rack Labels, etc
Move material throughout the Fabrication as needed including keeping brakes staged with unbent parts, delivering bent parts to the paint line, and delivering completed fabricated components as required to rack locations.
Keep pallet bins full of pallets.
Maintaining the FIFO labeling for pallets coming from the SWCs
Weigh and empty scrap bins and record weight in spreadsheet.
