About The Position

The FAB Machine Operator Winding will perform technical fabrication operations on raw materials throughout the Fabrication Department using metal processing machinery. In this function you will observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations, receive work assignments, oral or written instructions from Supervisor or Team Lead, perform initial set-up for operation on PLC, Analog, or Manual controlled machines, operate equipment/machinery to produce parts - Wire Wind, Tape, Solder for Transformers, interpret work orders including written, Kanban cards, and drawings, complete necessary paperwork and system transactions, maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation and calibration, inspect final component against work specifications, perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment, report abnormal situations and submit maintenance work orders to maintain equipment, provide on-the-job training for new Operators, perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily, and complete any other assigned tasks from management.

Requirements

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Previous experience reading calipers, protractors and tape measures
  • Previous experience reading blueprints
