About The Position

The Outreach Team is a leading face-to-face fundraising vendor dedicated to helping non-profit organizations achieve their goals. The F2F Regional Director will be a key leader responsible for the growth and development of the face-to-face fundraising business. This role involves managing staff, launching new offices, and overseeing successful fundraising campaigns for multiple national clients. This is a remote position requiring travel between 10-15 days per month.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in issue and/or electoral campaigns with increasing responsibility over time.
  • Experience in non-profit fundraising.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure each office in their region meets client deliverables on an ongoing basis, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly donor deliverables while maintaining donor quality (assessed by donor retention).
  • Approach all work with the priority of impressing clients through professionalism, integrity, and goal achievement.
  • Write and edit daily and weekly project reports to clients.
  • Manage a team of 3-5 Offices and the Lead Canvass Directors (LDs) who run those offices to drive company-wide goals, including donor deliverables, donor retention, staffing, and Equity & Justice goals.
  • Conduct weekly planning meetings, check-ins, trainings, site visits, and formal staff evaluations for LDs.
  • Manage LDs through regular team meetings.
  • Meet Lead and Deputy Director staffing goals, including BIPOC staffing goals for all regions overseen.
  • Work with Lead Directors to develop and promote staff to build capacity for program expansion.
  • Provide ongoing training to Lead Directors, including running remote, regional, and national trainings.
  • Travel to offices, work with Campaign Directors on the ground, and canvass with the team to lead by example.
  • Ensure that staff are following all health and safety protocols.
  • Serve as the fundamental decision-maker and responsible party for the success of offices within their region.
  • Act as a strategic partner with clients and the internal client success team in developing and executing office strategies.
  • Monitor office deliverables closely and proactively identify and propose solutions for program issues.
  • Develop, review, and adjust office metrics using mathematics and company planning tools to drive campaign trajectory and achieve goals.
  • Coordinate office and program launch and shutdown logistics, including identifying and renting office spaces, coordinating staff relocation flights, and securing office materials and furniture.
  • Be responsible, along with National Directors, for running regular Lead Director and Deputy Director training, including presenting content and working with trainees on skills development.
  • Identify staff at all levels with leadership potential and create plans for their advancement, including discussing leadership roles and running special training.
  • Help ensure Equity and Justice goals are met within the department, including hiring and developing BIPOC staff into leadership roles.
  • Play an integral role in departmental recruitment, including conducting interviews, making hiring decisions, and ensuring staff are developed and promoted from within.
  • Work with National Directors and the Recruitment director to assess and refine recruitment strategies to meet staffing and expansion goals.
