Pratt & Whitney’s (P&W) Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) group, Designers of advanced Fans and High Pressure Compressors, is currently seeking a highly-motivated Senior Engineer for Composites to join its team in support of the F135 Sustainment Program at Tinker AFB, OK.

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of composite design and analysis technology, as well as manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods for composites.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Possess strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Work as the onsite Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Composites Engineer supporting engine/hardware investigations and dispositions.
  • Support an Integrated Product Team for Military Composites overhaul production support and participate in projects aimed at implementing designs, inspections, and repairs that meet advanced engine-specific requirements in operational service.
  • Interface directly with the customer, the Joint Program Office of the Air Force, Navy, and Marines.
  • Conduct inspections and summarize and document findings in accordance with P&W procedures.
