About The Position

The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager is responsible for arranging vehicle financing, presenting and selling finance and insurance products, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role works closely with the sales team, lenders, and customers to finalize vehicle purchases while maximizing dealership profitability and maintaining high ethical standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in automotive finance, sales, or dealership management.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive lending and F&I products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and F&I software.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Meet with customers to review financing and payment options.
  • Secure financing through banks, credit unions, and lending institutions.
  • Present and sell F&I products, including: Vehicle service contracts, GAP protection, Tire and wheel protection, Maintenance plans, Credit life and disability insurance (where applicable).
  • Ensure all financing and sales documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable laws and dealership policies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with lenders and finance sources.
  • Achieve dealership profitability goals through effective product presentations and financing solutions.
  • Explain contract terms, warranties, and protection products clearly to customers.
  • Verify that all deals meet lender, manufacturer, and dealership requirements before funding.
  • Monitor funding status and resolve contract issues promptly.
  • Stay current on lender programs, interest rates, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to provide a seamless customer buying experience.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while meeting performance objectives.
