About The Position

The Mainland Kitchen + Bar located at the Holiday Inn at The Mainland on 151 Route 72 West in Manahawkin; New Jersey is currently hiring for a dependable and energetic Restaurant Support Team Member to help ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences. This role is essential to both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, assisting wherever needed to maintain efficiency, cleanliness, and service standards. Requirements

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to cleanliness and detail
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Support servers and bartenders with table maintenance and guest needs
• Assist with food running and beverage delivery during peak service times
• Reset and prepare tables quickly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and restrooms
• Refill water, restock supplies, and maintain organization of service areas
• Assist with dishwashing and light kitchen support as needed
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests
• Work collaboratively with management and team members to maintain service flow
