About The Position

The F&B Deli Cashier provides service to guests by taking deli and espresso orders, making change, and answering questions about casino food and entertainment. The role processes food revenue transactions for the deli and satellite areas, serves guests on the gaming floor using a food cart, and helps maintain deli service and dining areas. The cashier may be cross-trained to work in satellite areas and performs opening, closing, cash-handling, and other duties as needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age and enrolled in high school or hold a high school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years of age to sell food on the gaming floor.
Able to provide clearly superior customer service.
Able to handle disputes, problem-solve conflicts, and recognize when to involve management.
Good math skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with a number of people at one time.
Ability to take directions and complete tasks quickly.
Ability to work as a team.
Ability to lift 25 pounds while standing, twisting, or bending.
Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods.
Manual and finger dexterity to operate personal computers and adding machines and complete routine paperwork.

Nice To Haves

One year of cashier or customer service-related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and answer questions.
Process food revenue transactions for the deli and satellite areas.
Be able to cross-train and work in satellite areas.
Provide food service and make sales to gaming floor guests using the food cart.
Assist guests with comps and food specials.
Stock condiments and maintain deli beverage stations.
Maintain cleanliness of the deli dining and counter areas.
Bus tables in the deli and clear the Poker buss cart.
Assist staff as needed with guest service.
Perform cash-handling tasks consistent with F&B Cash Handling Procedures.
Perform opening and closing procedures as outlined.
Replenish coffee in the Employee Dining Area as directed, including late nights.
Perform other duties deemed necessary.
