About The Position

The F&B Cashier ensures consistent quality products and is responsible for preparing and selling food items according to menu standards. The role includes providing guest service, handling cash transactions, maintaining food-service equipment and the stand, and ensuring that products and supplies are properly stocked. The position requires standing for 8–10 hours and may include other assigned duties.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations in an interruptive environment.
• Availability to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours.
• Ability to perform the listed physical activities, including sitting or standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and talking or hearing.
• May be required to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer Service or Food & Beverage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to internal and external guests and greet guests approaching the service area.
• Prepare and sell all food items on the menu and handle cash transactions.
• Clean and sanitize food-service equipment used to prepare and serve menu items.
• Operate all equipment in the stand.
• Maintain current knowledge of daily menus and prices.
• Ensure the proper stock of products and supplies needed for service.
• Complete opening and closing inventories.
• Help ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Perform cleanup duties, including cleaning equipment, to maintain the quality appearance of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
