About The Position

This role focuses on optimizing the performance, reliability, and maintenance capabilities of Mission Systems on the F-35 Air Vehicle platform. The manager will analyze sustainment and maintenance data, recommend cost-effective sustainment strategies, evaluate supply chain posture and maintenance practices, and support the development of maintenance plans. The position also involves creating executive-level briefings and partnering with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Aircraft maintenance operations knowledge
• Experience with 5th Gen (F-22 or F-35) Fighter platforms
• Experience with analysis tools, data management or comparative analysis.
• This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

• Experience with Integrated Product Support Elements (Tech Data, Sustaining Engineering, Supply Support)
• Knowledge of Avionics and Mission Systems
• Experience with military service operations & customers
• Project Management skills, including written and oral, to lead and conduct analysis of complex sustainment/ engineering issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sustainment Improvement Projects (SIPs) that focus on optimizing the performance, reliability, and maintenance capabilities of Mission Systems on the F-35 Air Vehicle platform.
• Analyze sustainment and maintenance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Recommend and implement cost-effective sustainment strategies that enhance availability and reduce lifecycle costs.
• Evaluate supply chain posture, maintenance practices, and technical procedures; recommend updates or modifications as needed.
• Support the development and refinement of maintenance plans, ensuring they align with program performance goals and safety requirements.
• Create and deliver executive-level briefings to leadership and customers, summarizing analysis results, project risks, and recommended actions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, logistics, and supply chain to ensure alignment across sustainment initiatives.
