About The Position

Provide F-35 Air System sustainment engineering analysis expertise, project management and specific utility and subsystems, composite structures, corrosion mitigation, low observable repair, and wiring repair or troubleshooting SME support for fielded, operational, and training units, and depot or modification activities. Conduct analysis of in-service engineering products to identify opportunities for improvements to increase aircraft availability, reduce the maintenance burden, and improve F-35 user support. Leverage advanced skills and extensive technical expertise gained through experience in DoD aerospace programs. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, mentor and potentially supervise team members.

Requirements

Experience with DoD aerospace programs
Knowledge of sustaining engineering, mechanical engineering, or structural engineering
Ability to work independently and provide detailed analysis and recommendations to Government leadership to make informed engineering decisions
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
