F-15 Project Engineer
About The Position
The Boeing Company’s Defense, Space & Security business unit is seeking an F-15 Project Engineer to support F-15 Software Development and Advanced Programs in the St. Louis area. The role supports F-15 Domestic activities and coordinates across disciplines, with close interaction with Mission Systems. Familiarity with hardware and software development is valuable. The position works closely with program managers and the customer, providing visibility to leadership. The selected candidate will provide engineering leadership across teams representing multiple skill areas and lead technical, business, and integration activities in developing and executing project plans. The role includes defining and managing statements of work, assessing proposed changes, planning for risks and opportunities, and tracking project performance against baselines. The position is expected to be 100% onsite in Berkeley, Missouri. Travel may be required up to 10% domestically and/or internationally, depending on business needs. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance after starting and must be a U.S. citizen for clearance and Special Program Access eligibility. The role also requires compliance with U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. Person. Boeing will not sponsor employment visas. Relocation may be offered based on eligibility, and eligible, qualified external candidates may be considered for a signing bonus.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-U.S. equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- At least 9 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government, and an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required after starting.
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government.
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person.
- Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process.

Responsibilities
- Provide engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, potentially including internal and external resources, management, and customers.
- Develop statements of work to meet research and development, ongoing, and new business requirements.
- Respond to changes in statements of work; assess their impact and negotiate proposed changes to deliverables, resources, costs, and schedules.
- Lead project execution to complete the work statement with quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
- Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.
- Compare actual results with baseline plans to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned; identify performance metrics.
- Independently provide technical, business, and integration leadership for developing and executing project plans.
