About The Position

In a positive and cheerful manner, support and work alongside doctors to provide an outstanding patient experience. Perform accurate preliminary testing while building rapport with patients to reduce anxiety, and help instill confidence in the medical and surgical care they will receive.

This is a 3/4-time position, defined as 30–39 hours per week. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The schedule may vary according to the patient schedule and clinic needs. The position reports to the Site Manager.

Requirements

• Pleasant, caring, and helpful attitude.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work with a team to set and achieve common goals.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with legible handwriting.
• Keyboarding skills and comfort using Microsoft Word.
• Ability to remain composed and professional under stressful circumstances.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Support and work alongside doctors to provide an outstanding patient experience.
• Perform accurate preliminary testing.
• Build rapport with patients to help reduce their anxiety.
• Help patients feel confident in the medical and surgical care they will receive.
• Push equipment around the clinic.
• Push wheelchairs and help patients transfer in and out of exam chairs.
