Extrusion Night
About The Position
The Extrusion (BWD) manufacturing position involves assisting with and operating various types of machinery, inspecting material against specified instructions with measuring tools, maintaining specified tolerances, and moving material to and from other departments. The work takes place in a high-temperature area, approximately 5–10 degrees above other areas in the plant, and requires lifting up to 50–60 pounds. Spanish and English bilingual ability is required. The schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts: Week 1 is Monday through Wednesday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Thursday, 6:00 PM–2:00 AM; Week 2 is Monday through Wednesday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. Pay is $19.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Spanish/English bilingual ability is required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Comfort using a computer for data entry and information retrieval.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Excellent attendance and reliability.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to work in the United States.
- Ability to lift up to 50–60 pounds.
