About The Position
The Extrusion Press Operator is responsible for applying coating to drawn and cut steel wire. The role involves learning all aspects of the extrusion and baking process, performing quality checks, completing machine setups and changeovers promptly, and accurately entering data into Routecard. The operator must be mechanically inclined, work well with others, prioritize safety, and be willing to cross-train in other areas. Compensation is described as market-competitive.
Requirements
- Be mechanically inclined.
- Be able to stand for long periods.
- Work well with others.
- Be safety conscious and maintain a safety-first attitude.
- Obtain a forklift license and be physically capable of safely operating a forklift.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders.
Nice To Haves
- Press Operator experience.
- Computer experience.
