About The Position

Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Extruder Operator supports production within manufacturing operations. The role requires strong attention to safety, quality, productivity, and adherence to TOPPAN’s core values and work ethic. The operator runs and monitors the extruder line at a mid-level skill capacity, performs light and preventive maintenance, and helps ensure the extrusion process meets production and quality standards. The schedule is 6:45 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 6:45 p.m.–7:00 a.m., four days on and four days off. The position is located in Plant City, Florida.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience and/or related training.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions and troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to repair and maintain extruder line equipment.
• Forklift and clamp truck experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the extruder line at a mid-level skill capacity.
• Perform light and preventive maintenance activities, including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Ensure the extrusion process meets production and quality standards.
• Safely operate a forklift and clamp truck.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make appropriate adjustments as needed.
• Repair and maintain extruder line equipment.
