About The Position

The Extrusion Operator oversees correct machine operation, performs quality checks, and packages profiles. The role includes assisting with line start-up, monitoring production, making minor machine adjustments, and maintaining the work area. Employees must follow applicable safety requirements and wear personal protective equipment in designated environments. The work environment typically has moderate noise, and employees may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Vigilance about safety.
• Quality-conscious and oriented toward excellence.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Assist in line start-up.
• Stack good product in racks.
• Perform quality checks on profiles.
• Monitor correct machine operation.

• Grind profiles as needed.
