EXTRUSION OPERATOR II - RES
About The Position
The Extrusion Operator II oversees correct machine operation, performs quality checks, and packages profiles. The role assists with line start-up, stacks good product in racks, monitors equipment and makes minor machine adjustments, keeps compound and pigment loaders full, grinds profile as needed, and maintains a neat and clean work area. Additional duties may be assigned as needed for business purposes. This is a third-shift position scheduled from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM. The work environment typically has moderate noise and occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts. Appropriate personal protective equipment is required at designated times and in specified environments. Employment is conditioned upon successfully completing a criminal background check and a negative drug test consistent with applicable law.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, at minimum.
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Vigilance about safety.
- Quality-conscious orientation to excellence.
Nice To Haves
- Basic computer skills, with good working knowledge of Excel and Word preferred.
