Responsible for the operator and PM’s of the extrusion line.
Requirements
Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate robots and the cutting machine
Mechanical aptitude
Must be able to read and use measuring tools
Self-motivation
Pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities
Follow directions from management regarding length, color and diameter choices to be ran
Meet required machine and item efficiencies
Perform continuous quality checks
Maintain the department’s 5S program
Perform PM’s on extrusion lines
Takes initiative and performs tasks without being told
Perform color changes, length changes, die changes and setup changes
Able to accurately fill out all required paperwork on a daily basis
Follow all required safety procedures
Other duties as assigned
Benefits
40 hours of non-paid time off starts at time of hire and requires supervisor approval to use.
PTO accrual starts at time of hire; 1 hour earned for every 40 hours worked. PTO can be used for any reason after 90 days of employment.
