Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills, including Excel
- Good math skills
- Experience with quality inspection and lean manufacturing
- Familiarity with SAP and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) safety procedures
Nice To Haves
- 6 months experience as a machine operator, maintenance technician, or related military experience; or an Associate's Degree in a relevant field
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain extrusion equipment for processing polypropylene pellets
- Follow safety guidelines and participate in safety-related activities
- Set up, monitor, and adjust machines according to product specifications
- Inspect materials and products for quality control
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment
- Keep accurate records and communicate technical issues
- Assist in training other operators
