About The Position

ProAmpac is hiring an Extrusion Assistant Operator at its Cincinnati, Ohio facility. The role supports operators in producing packaging products that meet quality standards and requires following safety rules, wearing personal protective equipment, and complying with work instructions. The position is on a day shift from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and requires 12-hour shifts and scheduled overtime.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• High school-level mathematics.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and scheduled overtime.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and regulations and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions to produce products that meet standards, including repro production, cores, and packaging.
• Assist operators by cutting cores, feeding Erema, changing rolls, and following resin lines.
• Understand and respond to alarms.
• Complete required paperwork and labels.
• Perform other basic functions assigned by the operator or supervisor and other duties as assigned.
