About The Position
The Extrusion Press Operator applies coating to drawn and cut steel wire. The role involves learning the extrusion and baking processes, using mechanical skills to support the team, completing quality checks, setting up and changing over machines promptly, and accurately entering data into Routecard. The operator must work safely, cooperate with others, and be willing to cross-train in other areas. The position offers market-competitive compensation.
Requirements
- Able to stand for long periods.
- Able to work well with others.
- Safety-conscious, with a safety-first attitude.
- Physically capable of safely operating a forklift.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders.
Nice To Haves
- Press Operator experience preferred.
- Computer experience preferred.
