About The Position
Illinois Tool Works (ITW) is a Fortune 500 manufacturing company known for innovation and high-quality solutions. This position involves operating and maintaining plastic extrusion lines to produce quality product while meeting production targets. The role operates on 12-hour shifts (7pm–7am) on a 2-2-3 schedule with alternating weekends off.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Extrusion experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Stable work history and flexibility to take on new tasks
- Physical Requirements: Stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain plastic extrusion lines to produce quality product while meeting production targets (line speed, uptime, yield).
- Perform quality checks and document results.
- Troubleshoot issues and communicate with team and maintenance.
- Complete line changeovers, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance.
- Package and label product accurately.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Complete required paperwork.
- Support team with operations and changeovers.
