About The Position

The Express Service Technician performs assigned vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealership and factory standards. The role helps build customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence in AutoNation’s care for customers’ vehicle safety and reliability. Pay is $17.00 per hour, with advancement potential. AutoNation offers factory training, OEM certification support, and opportunities to grow into service, sales, management, regional, and executive roles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record that can be maintained.
• Passion for cars and customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an express or quick-lube technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Keep up to date with factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
