Express Technician at Honda of South Miami
About The Position
The Express Technician performs routine express services at Honda of South Miami, completing assigned work within the time allotted by management. The technician checks and tops off vehicle fluids and tire pressures, resets oil reminder lights, replaces oil change reminder stickers, lubricates suspension fittings and door hinges, and completes general visual inspections using a digital inspection report. Inspection reports are provided promptly to the Service Advisor for customer review. The technician also reports safety concerns arising from equipment failures and keeps the work area clean. Experience is beneficial but not required; Morgan Auto Group offers career paths with progressive pay and opportunities for advancement.

- Automotive service experience is beneficial but not required.
- ASE certifications are recognized.
Responsibilities
- Perform express services in a timely manner.
- Check and top off all fluid levels and tire pressures on every vehicle serviced.
- Reset oil reminder lights and replace oil change reminder stickers.
- Lubricate every suspension fitting and door hinge.
- Perform general visual inspections and document findings using the provided digital inspection report format.
- Complete required service within the time allotted by management.
- Provide the Service Advisor with the inspection report promptly for review with the customer.
- Report safety concerns to the Service Manager or Shop Foreman in the event of equipment failure.
- Keep the work area clean at all times.
