About The Position

Altoona Honda is hiring an Express Technician to perform fast, accurate vehicle maintenance and provide high-quality customer service. The technician works with service advisors and customers to communicate inspection findings and maintenance or repair recommendations, while maintaining an efficient, clean, and safe work area. Requirements

Previous automotive service experience.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and deliver results efficiently.
Passion for cars and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Dealer or independent shop experience is a plus.
ASE certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain certification within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

Perform quick, accurate maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and multi-point inspections.
Conduct thorough multi-point inspections to identify additional service requirements.
Diagnose minor vehicle issues and communicate recommendations clearly to service advisors.
Explain maintenance and repair recommendations to service advisors and customers.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficiency and safety.
Deliver exceptional customer service as a representative of the dealership.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
