About The Position
Rountree Moore Nissan, part of Morgan Auto Group, is hiring an entry-level Express Technician. The company offers in-house technician training, Express Tech tools, and career paths with progressive pay. It aims to promote from within and describes recent Lube Technicians advancing to other roles in less than a year. Experience is beneficial but is not required. Pay is based on experience and certifications. The role performs express services and inspections within timeframes assigned by management, documents findings in a digital inspection report, and provides the report to the Service Advisor for customer review. The technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean work area and reporting safety concerns related to equipment failures.
Requirements
- Be reliable, punctual, responsible, and a team player.
- Experience is beneficial but not required.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications are recognized.
- Automotive technician, line technician, tire technician, or lube technician experience is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Perform express services in a timely manner.
- Check and top off fluid levels and tire pressures on every vehicle serviced.
- Reset oil reminder lights and replace oil change reminder stickers.
- Lubricate suspension fittings and door hinges.
- Perform general visual inspections and document findings using the provided digital inspection report format.
- Complete required service within the time allotted by management.
- Provide the inspection report to the Service Advisor in a timely manner for review with the customer.
- Report safety concerns to the Service Manager or Shop Foreman in the event of equipment failure.
- Keep the work area clean.
