About The Position

The Express Lube / Tire Technician performs vehicle maintenance assigned on repair orders, following dealership and factory standards for efficiency, accuracy, quality, and safety. The role supports customer loyalty by building trust and confidence in AutoNation’s vehicle care and providing an exceptional customer experience. The technician communicates regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors, documents work performed, keeps up with factory technical bulletins, and participates in factory-sponsored training as appropriate. Success is measured by meeting targeted production and Customer Satisfaction Index goals. AutoNation offers factory training, OEM certification support, and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record that can be maintained.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Passion for cars and customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an express/quick lube technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance work listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Meet targeted production and Customer Satisfaction Index goals.
