About The Position

The Express Lube & Tire Technician performs vehicle maintenance as assigned, following dealership and factory standards. The role supports customer loyalty by building trust and confidence in AutoNation’s care for vehicle safety and reliability. The technician works with factory training and tools, documents work, and helps deliver an exceptional customer experience. Entry-level technicians are paid $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Attention to detail.
Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record that is maintained.
Passion for cars and customer service.

Nice To Haves

Experience as an express or quick-lube technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle maintenance work listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication effectively.
Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
Keep current with factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive customer loyalty.
