About The Position

The Express Lube / Tire Technician performs assigned vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealership and factory standards. The role helps build customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence in AutoNation as a provider of vehicle safety and reliability. Technicians receive factory training, OEM certification support, and opportunities to advance into other roles across AutoNation’s nationwide network.

The position is measured by achieving targeted production and Customer Satisfaction Index results. Entry-level technicians are paid $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record that is maintained.
• A passion for cars and customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an express or quick-lube technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication effectively.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Stay informed about factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
