About The Position
Hyundai of Beavercreek is looking for a dependable, motivated, and team-oriented Express Lube Technician to join our service department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to build a career in the automotive industry. As an Express Lube Technician, you will perform routine maintenance services while providing a high level of service and attention to detail. Experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate—we are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn.
Requirements
- Previous automotive or lube technician experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and routine vehicle maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to safely operate vehicles and dealership equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Must provide your own basic hand tools, or be willing to acquire them.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance services.
- Inspect vehicles for basic maintenance and safety concerns and communicate findings to the service team.
- Check and maintain proper fluid levels, tire pressures, and other vehicle components.
- Perform multi-point inspections accurately and thoroughly.
- Follow manufacturer recommendations and dealership procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Properly use lifts, hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Follow all dealership and OSHA safety procedures.
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Assist other technicians and service department personnel as needed.
- Provide a positive experience for every customer by treating their vehicle with care and respect.
