About The Position

Lexus of Cool Springs is hiring a full-time Express Automotive Service Technician to provide prompt, expert service and customer care. The technician performs minor vehicle services, conducts multi-point inspections, identifies and documents service needs, and helps maintain an efficient, professional shop environment. Applicants must be at least 19 years old and able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, an MVR check, and a drug test. A valid driver’s license held for at least three years is required.

Strong commitment to safety, including consistent use of PPE, back belts, safety glasses, and safety shoes.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the service team to deliver efficient, expert care for customer vehicles.
Perform minor services, including lube, oil, and filter changes, in accordance with dealership and manufacturer procedures.
Conduct thorough multi-point inspections on customer-pay, warranty, and extended-warranty vehicles.
Identify legitimate service and repair needs and document recommendations in the Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) report.
Prepare accurate estimates for additional work and communicate findings to the Service Advisor for guest approval.
Assist fellow technicians with light mechanical duties as needed.
Communicate with the Service Manager, Service Consultants, and technicians to meet Lexus time standards and guest expectations.
Keep the shop clean and equipment calibrated to Lexus standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
