About The Position

This position is a key member of a high-performing shipping and logistics team, supporting both domestic and international export shipments. The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of shipments, as well as maintaining inventory control and warehouse inventory accuracy. Dependability, attention to detail and accuracy are essential for success in this role. It is important to have timely and accurate order fulfillment. It is critical to meet customer expectations and deliver on our commitments. In this position you will work with a small, dedicated team who have demonstrated an extremely high level of quality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. This is a day-shift position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Demonstrates the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new warehouse systems.
Familiarity with warehouse practices and methods
Strong organization and time management skills
Accountability and Reliability
Must have forklift experience
Experience of working with ERP systems
Experience with Microsoft desktop applications including Word and Excel
Knowledge in ACE (Automated Commercial Environment)
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Quick learner who is open to new processes and continuous improvements
Focused on customer needs with strong attention to quality and accuracy.
Strong attention to detail
Able to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy.
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, material handling, shipping and receiving, and inventory control processes.
Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Ability to frequently bend, squat, reach, lift, and move throughout the workday.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and complete domestic and international shipments for delivery or pickup according to schedule and priority.
Coordinate shipping activities using ERP systems and external shipping systems. For example, DHL Global, FedEx, UPS, and Hawaiian Express.
Work directly with trucking companies and freight carriers to ensure timely delivery of products to customers and distribution partners worldwide, including locations such as Mexico, Australia, Argentina, Germany, and China.
Manage the daily shipping process for domestic customer orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
Perform receiving, shipping, picking, staging, packing, and material-handling activities in support of warehouse operations.
Assist in warehouse cycle counting.
Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and timely execution.
Create, maintain, and update work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, and other operational documentation.
Leads, by example, treats people with respect, and helps create a positive, team-focused work environment.
Provide operational coverage during employee’s absences, vacations, and periods of increased workload.
Collaborates with teams across the business to stay aligned, solve problems, and help achieve business goals.
