About The Position

Axis Communications is seeking a part-time Export Compliance Coordinator to support the Export Compliance Team within the Finance and Operations Organization in the Americas Region. The role assists with executing and administering Axis' Trade Compliance Program in accordance with established program activities, government and legal requirements, and proactive project plans. The position is 4 hours per day, with some flexibility for a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience or knowledge in business operations, customer service, or general compliance programs.
• Proficiency with computer skills, including the full Microsoft suite, Salesforce, and ERP systems.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service and a drive to create a positive experience for internal and external partners.
• Proactive, resourceful, and reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Axis Americas export compliance mailbox daily, responding to inquiries promptly and facilitating support for internal and external requests.
• Conduct first-level daily restricted/denied party screening using Axis’ RPS tool, document findings in log files, train and assist other teams with potential matches, and update SOPs when processes change.
• Review IFS Lobby export activities daily for missing documentation or data elements, and coordinate resolutions with Lund.
• Pull weekly export reports from IFS and forward them to CLCs for coordination and review.
• Review and approve international shipment requests for exports from all US offices and AECs.
• Assist the team in determining appropriate export and import codes for outgoing Axis employee and office exports.
• Review and approve End User Statement documents for mandatory requirements and accuracy; coordinate with Order Management, Project Pricing, and Technical Services; document findings and communicate them to staff through Salesforce CRM.
• Assist the team with internal and external audits.
• Update new employee onboarding and other trade compliance training courses through Axis’ LMS platform, and monitor employee completion in Workday.
