About The Position

The Explorers Manager leads all aspects of Rosewood Calistoga’s children’s program, creating experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, learning, and adventure. The role oversees daily operations, team leadership, program development, safety compliance, guest engagement, and financial performance, ensuring exceptional care and service for children and families. It combines leadership, creativity, and operational excellence to support a high-quality family experience and enhance the overall resort journey.

Requirements

• Experience in children's programming, education, recreation, childcare, hospitality, or a related field.
• Knowledge of child safety and supervision best practices.
• Strong organizational and operational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop Explorers Associates, fostering safety, engagement, and exceptional guest service.
• Design and oversee programming that connects children to the destination through nature, culture, wellness, creativity, and discovery.
• Ensure high standards of child safety, supervision, compliance, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
• Build relationships with families and create memorable experiences that enhance their guest stay.
• Collaborate with resort departments to develop seasonal events, family programming, and unique experiences.
• Manage departmental operations, scheduling, budgeting, inventory, training, and performance.
