About The Position
Joshua Tree Experts is seeking an Experienced Tree Climber to join its 2- to 4-person crews in Stockertown, Pennsylvania. The role assists with tree removal, pruning, and general preservation techniques while adhering to ANSI standards. The climber supports safe tree operations, maintains assigned vehicles and equipment, provides professional customer service, delegates work to Groundman Operations Specialists, and safely operates aerial lifts. The position requires a schedule of at least 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of tree climbing experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Forestry or Horticulture degree.
- ISA Certified Arborist certification, or be close to obtaining certification.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with the crew leader, coworkers, clients, and the public.
- Ensure safe tree operations and strictly follow the company’s safety culture.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional image.
- Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialists.
- Operate aerial lifts safely and effectively.
- Assist with tree removal, pruning, and general preservation techniques while adhering to ANSI standards.
- Commit to a schedule of at least 40 hours per week.
