About The Position
Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a dedicated Circulating Registered Nurse to join its Operating Room team. The role provides high-tech, patient-focused care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The hospital provides a broad range of surgical services across multiple specialties, excluding organ transplants, including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, neurosurgery, cardiovascular, plastics, ENT, ophthalmology, and thoracic surgery.
Requirements
- Active Kentucky RN License.
- BCLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Implement the nursing process for patients across all age groups, from infant to geriatric.
- Ensure patient safety by following safety policies and procedures.
- Assess physiological responses to surgery and manage patient care accordingly.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to support the best possible patient outcomes.
- Take personal responsibility and accountability in contributing to the department’s success.
