About The Position

Ideal Care, LLC is looking for Part-time Weekday and Weekend Experienced Support Staff in the La Jolla area of San Diego. The client is an adult male in his late 60's with a developmental disability. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience with adults with developmental disabilities, and possess enthusiasm, energy, consistency, patience, and maturity. Knowledge of all developmental disabilities is also required. The client requires full support for most/all personal self-care needs, 100% supervision to ensure safety, assistance with household management skills, light cleaning, laundry, community outings, personal goals, doctor's appointments, exercise, light grocery shopping, and meal preparation/cooking. The client has their own vehicle for staff to use for transportation needs. This is a rewarding and unique position.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with adults with developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of all developmental disabilities.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Possess a driver's license.
• Have car insurance.

Responsibilities
