About The Position

This is a part-time MRI Tech position (48 hours per pay period) with 8-hour varied day shifts scheduled on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation, including a 7-day backup call every 7 weeks. The position is based at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla with the potential to float to AMP. To remain eligible for the retention incentive, employees must maintain their original hired FTE status, shift, department/specialty, and job title, with transfers reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Requirements

  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT
  • Venipuncture class completion (certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure/certification
  • Excellent investigative, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • At least 1 year of MRI Tech experience (required for new graduates)
