About The Position

This is a part-time MRI Tech position at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, requiring 48 hours per pay period with 8-hour varied day shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation, including a 7-day backup call every 7 weeks. The position is based at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, a Magnet hospital serving the San Diego community since 1924, with potential to float to AMP. Requirements

  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT
  • Venipuncture class completion; certificate must be provided at application
  • 10 venipuncture sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure/certification
  • Excellent investigative, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • At least 1 year of MRI Tech experience (required for new graduates to be eligible for incentive)
