About The Position

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, a Magnet hospital serving the greater San Diego community since 1924, is seeking an MRI Tech. This full-time position involves 8-hour varied day shifts and participation in an on-call rotation, including a 7-day backup call every 7 weeks. The role is based at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla with the potential to float to AMP. Requirements

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT
• Venipuncture class completion. Certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure/certification
• Excellent investigative, interpersonal and leadership skills
• At least 1 year of MRI Tech experience (New Graduates are not eligible for hiring incentives).

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of MRI experience
• Cardiac and Breast experience
• Experience with Siemens scanners

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including a 7-day backup call every 7 weeks.
