About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Heavy Body Technician to perform extensive bodywork on multiple vehicle panels and train other autobody technicians at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes heavy plastic welding and stapling; heavy metal pulling, straightening, shrinking, and stud welding; roof and rocker panel repair; and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The role requires at least five years of professional automotive bodywork experience. First- and second-shift availability is noted. Required overtime is a key part of the business strategy, and employees must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs. The position involves working in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to hot or cold weather. Employees use safety equipment such as face shields or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments and equipment. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.

Valid driver’s license.
