About The Position

Swift Transportation is hiring an Experienced Diesel Fleet Mechanic in Jurupa Valley, California. The mechanic will help maintain the safety and efficiency of Swift’s transportation fleet, working alongside other technicians with access to hands-on training, modern equipment, and career advancement opportunities. Swift’s network includes more than 700 fleet technicians who support over 13,000 trucks and 60,000 trailers.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment hair drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on tractors, trailers, refrigerated units, and shop equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and trailer systems.
• Inspect equipment to OEM, DOT, and company standards.
• Perform minor and major repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Perform tire inspections, repairs, and failure analysis.
